New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

The short answer is...

"not on most of the SACD's I have."

If you've had the player (I assume it's new and doesn't convert DSD to PCM) for a week or less, give it another couple of weeks of actual playing time and see if you're still afflicted with "thin." Contrary to what the audio illiterati posing as experts tell you, it takes time for caps, cabling, etc., to burn in (and it's not a phenomenon that has anything to do with "short" audio memory or your ears "adjusting")...which is why professional reviewers rarely, if ever, will assess equipment right out of the box.

Good luck.
