Having just picked myself up off the floor I can declare this very impressive, provided the largely slow tempi don't worry you. The sound is very much the London Barbican Concert Hall, and that means it is oddly unspacious but fairly good. The dynamic range is suitable for measuring on the Richter Scale. Multichannelers should note that this, and all LSO Live SACD issues, is 4.0 only, no centre, no sub. I confirmed this with the recording company Classic Sound.Dave
