....as they have their own repair facility where the quality is very poor. Same applies for Circuit City, Best Buy and many more.Next time just ship the unit to San Diego where Sony Service is. If you can trust the local Authorized Service Centers, then it's your choice... :-) Just beware that these are NOT Sony Service, these are just Authorized.
