Teac is a conservative "old school" company. Must be a reason they have been around so long. You are a brave man to take a risk modding your own Teac. Don't think I would want to have any surgery done on mine at this time. If something should fail due to mods- it could be a "bad" situation. Sounds so smooth to me now that I leave it on all the time with display off. My turntable is seeing much less action- I first for me.
