Hello Jeb,I do live in Paris, and the widest selection at the moment seems to be at Virgin Megastore on Champs Elysées, where they have set up a special display for "new formats", with about 100+ SACDs, including many imports hard to find anywhere else. However, they charge a FORTUNE for some of them, with some titles at >40 euros. I haven't been there in about a month, but that section is by the large windows, close to the French music section and the soundtracks section (and it's open on Sundays and late at night! :)
They also have a smaller section of DVD-Audio titles, just next to it in that display. For classical, there's a growing selection of quality titles in the Harmonia Mundi shops, but they tend to file the discs just like the CDs, so you have to look for specific titles. I checked yesterday in the shop at MK2 Bibliothèque (open Sundays and until 10:00 PM) and they didn't seem to have the new Harmonia Mundi titles, but it shouldn't be long now before they receive them.
That's all I have found...
Cheers
Eric
