Home Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

Those don't sound like contradictions to me.

" Given the proper hardware and vinyl, analog discs still have the edge on sound quality, even with the surface noise and hastle of cleaning, changing sides and such".
"... I use a Chord 64 which makes well recorded 16/44 disks (discs) sound superior to DVD-A and SACD in most cases ..."

This basically sounds to me like his preference in order goes Vinyl, well-recorded cd's, and DVD/A and SACD.

"So all I can say is pick your format ... Remember its (it's) the music that should get you off, not the format! We're here because we love the music"

Makes sense to me! In fact I think that's a good line, very true. If we could spend less time arguing like children here in this forum, it would be a lot more interesting.
