You can't play either the SACD or Red-book layer in most DVD drives, either stand-alone players or those in computers. The only chance one has, is if the drive uses two lasers, one for CD the other for DVD, which the majority these days, do not.
Just try playing an SACD in a PC's DVD drive, you'll only get audio if you're really lucky.
