It cost me 650 EUR (or USD), have given it to Vacuum State to modify.

It is a board having a low jitter oscillator and a filter with a buffer with a gain of 1 attached directly to the digital filter output, bypassing ALL the DAC op-amps on the Sony board. Sounds marvellous!
Even the original Sony outputs remain active so a direct comparison is possible.They have a network of installers now, or if you feel like tampering with electronis (easier) nad the mechanics (harder) of the player you can order the whole stuff as a kit from Allen.
