It's good you've made the distinction because I also dislike IEM's from a comfort standpoint. I own have a set of Shure IEM's but I gave up on wearing them after one or two tries. I would greatly prefer to wear earbuds but I don't own any (so I'm not making a recommendation based upon experience), but I have heard good things about those Yuin earbuds.
