As we age, we experience hearing loss, and some of us change from speakers to headphones. For some of us that solves the problem, but...... Some of us lose more hearing in one eat than the other.In addition, our doctor is prescribing exercise which does not agree with our audio hobby.
The answer to both problems is answered by changing to IEMs, or in ear monitors and DAPs, digital audio players.
Our speaker amps and headphone amps do not have a balance adjustment, but DAPs do so you can compensate for hearing loss in one ear if necessary.
We can get out on nice days and take long walks to improve our health while enjoying our musical hobby.
You can the good digital audio files on line at places like HD Trax, Pro StudioMasters, etc.
There are several IEM/DAP review sites and forums such as HeadFi and SBAF to assist and entertain you.
This is easy Audio for our later years. Only three items that influence the sound, the DAP, The cable and the IEM.
