Does anyone have experience repairing a Peachtree Shift?

Been happy with mine until recently. Battery dies if sitting for a while and I figured out why...power button won't stay OFF. Glanced at it one day after not using it and the lights were one. If you hold the button in the OFF position it will turn off temporarily, but comes back on. If you DO get it to power down, it can come back on randomly. I wanted to take a look inside but not sure how to get it apart properly. Don't know if it snaps apart or if there are hidden screws beneath the rubber 'feet'. Anybody had an issue with theirs? Peachtree wants $150 to look at it if it's beyond warranty....screw that.
