That's right....If your system is able, you can hear the difference. I have the audio DVD of Hotel California which is recorded on 2 different tracks....one recorded 96 hz, and other with 192 hz. My Ayre C5xemp can play each of those tracks....with the higher resolution, the words are more defined, the instruments are more "energetic", etc. No one will fault the lower res, but the higher gives just a bit more.
