They're a firm clamp, but the set is pretty light, so no issues with the comfort. Don't listen to them as much anymore, as I'm not travelling like I used to. Use Senn Momentum over ears at work, or used to, until I got a set of JHA 13 iems to replace my Shure 535s I misplaced. Can't take the JHAs out of my ears.
Liked the warmer tone of the Senns over the 1350s, so that's why the Mo's got the nod. The 1350s are accurate, excellent build quality, nicely portable (fold flat) and as I mentioned light, so they go along in the backpack when travelling. Both are very good.
