Fit and comfort are very important aspects of headphone listening so it's simply not worth getting headphones that do not fit properly.

If your ear size is even slightly larger than average, the older Momentum 1.0 over ears model may not fit over your ears as intended. The original Momentum was designed to be as compact as possible, but unfortunately this decision left large-eared listeners in the lurch. Before buying the older Momentums, make sure that you can return them for refund if they do not fit you.

The Momentum 2.0 folds up more tightly and compactly than the original does, so the slight increase in earcup size does not hinder it's portability. Also, if you wait a while, the "street price" for the 2.0 version is likely to dip below $300.
