I am facing probably at least three years of construction starting 40' from my deck where I'm currently sitting. As I type a Cat, dumptruck, and roller are all rumbling about with their exhausts and back-up beepers blaring. So I'm wearing hearing protectors that I bought at the gun shop to try and tame my shop-Vac and they are (just) adequate. But I'd like to have some music too...
So I'm thinking about some noise cancelling headphones. I'll likely never wear them anywhere else so they can be ugly, big and clunky, especially if it increases the noise rejection. I don't need stellar performance, for instance I find the cheap, Ti diaphragm, on-ear Koss units to sound just fine.
I welcome any suggestions.
Thanks, Rick
