Wow...have I been out of the loop!! I need to replace a set of head phones. I have used for many, many years, Sennheiser PXC 250 noise cancelling headphones. I have gone through 3 pairs of these as they eventually wear out somewhere in the cord. Each time I have bought them again, for about $80. I am about to replace my latest pair and I find now that the price of these is $200!!!!! They moved up to the PXC 250 II model but I just cant believe the price increase!! $200? No thanks. I am done with Sennheiser. I'm not tossing them $200 every few years.
I have never seen the price of a consumer electronic model more than double before. If anything, things get cheaper as time goes on.
Incredible.
