The FIIO FT-1 at $150 and is highly rated at Headphones.com, and I am listening to them right now. They are exceedingly popular, and availability from them may be delayed. FIIO also just came out with the FT-1 Pro, which have open back planar drivers as opposed to the FT-1 that has closed back dynamic drivers.

I haven't heard the Pro, but the FT-1 goes DEEP in the bass to about 30Hz and is smooth and musical out to 20kHz. Comfort is another big plus, and they can be worn for hours without discomfort.

I was looking for bargain-priced 'phones with great bass, and these are IT!
