If you are looking for a OTL headphone amp that can drive both high and low impedance headphones, consider the Kludge OTL 4 headphone amp. The write up and circuit can be found in the old Vacuum Tube Valley Issue 11 starting on page 24.

If you are handy with a soldering iron, you can make it yourself. I got the iron from Heyboer, who makes excellent iron.

This amp performance really depends on the tubes selected. With high quality NOS tubes, such as a RCA 5691 red base, and a Bendix/Tung Sol 6080, the amp sounds very good, and easily competes with much more expensive headphone amps.
