The LCD2 is easy to drive. I used a Decware Taboo custom made with a headphone amp with good results. If you go to the HE6 I had best results from a speaker tap using a vintage Pioneer SX980 80W amp. The HE500 while more easier to drive still requires power and worked well on my Decware Taboo. I would not recommend the Hifiman unless you have the proper amps to drive them. For me I went back to the T1 and happier for it.
