TU-8300 transformers

I see that you can use different output transformers with the TU-8300 using some sort of plate system, how does that work? Are we able to have the transformers mounted on plates and then just pop them on and off as we want? What are the prices of the plates, and can we get some of the different transformers from you? What are the standard output transformers that come with the kit? Has anyone experimented with the different transformers, do some work better for the pentodes as opposed to the 300b? Thanks for any info you can send my way!
