If going to rectified DC heaters there really is no reason for elevating the heaters. That is more common with AC. Joe Esmilla(JE Labs) does DC elevating with his 76 preamp because of the phono stage but he told me there was no audible difference with or without it. That was the only time I saw it on DC.
