not sure if your problem has been resolved. How old is your ST70?, did you build it yourself?
I would do a good overall visual check as well, check all solder points.
Are you able to check BIAS voltages etc? If not, there are people that can check your setup and repair it for a charge, but it means you'll need to send it to them.
But again, do a very precise visual check of all solder points etc., keep us up to date.
