Curcio PAS linestage modification board

I have a PAS mod set of boards that were given to me many years ago which I never did anything with. Now I have a couple tired Pas2 preamps which would be a perfect candidate for the boards. I attempted to order the JFet (J271) and the output mosfet (IRF711ND) finding that both are listed at Digi Key and Mouser as obsolete components. Digi Key lists alternates (for the JFet)but they are in a surface mount package and look like special order (non stock). Has anyone found either a supplier for the parts or suitable replacements? Thanks.
