My Dynaco 416 Power Amp create a loud hum noise through speaker connected to it, regardless of the source of the media (tv, cd, dvd, etc.) I have tested the speakers with other inputs and they do not hum.

The amp was crate shipped across country so it's possible some parts within or the grounding became jarred lose. I have no idea how to trouble shoot this problem, and I have been unable to find any solution in other forums.

Also, I have not been able to find any high-fi dealers that fix components in Houston, so haven't been able to have the amp serviced.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
