I said the tracks where maximized with some of the peaks hard limited.
Which can result in brief clips normally in the transients. The transients are normally from the percussion. Which are harder to notice.
They are no where near as bad as Metallica's death magnetic.
If the transients are squashed too hard it will remove the apparent attack of the percussion and other percussive sounds.
If you want to look at some of your files download DVD audio explorer.
And look at them though a wave editing program like Cool edit pro or Adobe Audition...
