im glad you posted.I played the strange days disc.minu & contents are the same in both player minus.well except for the hi rez content on the dvda.
what baffled me was the first 2 songs sounded ok then the vocals went soft.my mch rec wont do test tones in mch analog mode.there was no center output.test tones in player showed no output.that player has 10 outputs all were plugged in but the center.I was working on it months ago.never did the test tones.I always thought there was no center ifo on dvd a.must of played 50 or more discs since then they all sounded ok except this one.I use 1 center in the front & 2 in the rear.so it sounds 100% better.I was doing an experement between the 2 channel & mch.
I played the opening organ on the begining of the disc.In stereo the organ was in 1 channel in multi it started in the left rear circled all the way around & ended in the right rear.this was the 1st 5 seconds of the disc.the dts should sound the same way?could not test that digital out is not hooked up on my dvd player.ps there no dts on the dvd-a minu either.there is 2 channel digital on the extra 2 song live videos.if any of the extra videos are 5.1 in a dvd player its better than the dvd a versions.thanks for the post.:<}
