suggestions for what I can get to replace my Tube Technology CD64 Fusion

Hi Guys,

Please help!

My Tube Technology CD 64 Fusion CD player has died after 8-9 years of solid service.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can get to replace it?

I have the following requirements...

It should be a superb player, reliable and well built.

It should have a nice, warm, easy going, analogue sound (not bright or clinical!).

It should be black with a dimmer-able display.

It should be capable of having an AV input or Home Theater Loop.

My budget is about $4000 (£3300 in the UK).

Please can I have some "sensible" and honest suggestions? Thanks guys.

My system is:

Audio Research SP9 preamp
Michell Alecto Monoblock Power Amps
Proac Response D Two (D2) loudpseakers
Van Den Hul "The First" and "The Second" interconnects
Van Den Hul "The Wind II" speaker cable
