I guess the 1930 is a development of the ghastly 1910 unit we bought before the 2910.
That had serious issues.
Wouldn't play discs that were home-authored with Chrome 2, (subpicture highlights did not display properly) glitched at MLP track points (with segue audio, so no gapless playback), HDMI was allegedly (I cannot confirm this though) not good either.
The 2910 has been flawless here in daily use for 2 years now.
