I had two Cambridge CD6s that never worked a month down the road, although they sounded pretty good for a $420 unit. I think that their QC is suspect. I see the Marantz units being offered by AA and they are truly Universal. AA should have a return policy, so you're just out the shipping back.Good luck and keep us posted, Chris
