I watched it.
Like most of these exposes, there's some truth, some omissions, some glossing over of details, and some hyperbole. A little too dogmatic for my taste, but YMMV, as they say.
My own opinion is that many of these cable companies don't do themselves any favors with the "technical" explanations offered in their literature and their web sites. There's lots of reasons why different cable designs could and probably do give varying performance - go look at Henry Ott's website and books as one unbiased source accepted by EMC professionals pretty much everywhere. But, I guess these explanations aren't sexy enough to offer to prospective customers.
Please note that my comments above have nothing to do with the pricing of these cables and the reasoning behind that. That's a separate issue that often is conflated with the technical question of different cables giving different system performance and why that might be.
