You think his comments about MQA don't represent his true opinion? You think he's getting paid to comment positively on MQA?

Ludwig is waaaay past having to "convince" potential clients to hire him. Do you really not understand that mastering engineers don't choose formats that recordings are released in? What do expect Ludwig to do, refuse to master according to the desires of his clients? Do you expect mastering engineers to refuse to comply with any number of requests/requirements from their employers? How many highly regarded mastering engineers can you name that turn down biz due to disagreeing with the desires of their clients?

Jeez, obviously its part of a mastering engineer's job to keep abreast of new formats/techniques so they can produce the best results they can in whatever format *their clients* choose. Ludwig is a "go to" mastering engineer simply because his clients like the results of his mastering, not because he's a shill for new formats/techniques.
