sure Napster that was the wild west days of the internet, basically a free for all with copyright theft. Ff you wrap FLAC into Ogg Vorbis you can have DRM at the server level.
I don't understand why this is hard?
I record music myself, that is another problem, everyone with a $100 sound card is now a musician, the music industry was destroyed by that fact that anyone with a computer can make music. However horrible it is.
Real hackers are on the dark web ordering cocaine and hitmen using Tor. Seriously.
