that's how i remember him and his truly authoritative reviews. many thought he sat on his high horse but when all was said and done, he was usually right about a component.
he is truly missed and i wish him a speedy recovery which is selfish on my part, i want hp's hard boned reviews back. yes, his opinion changed on things as components got better before his final say-so on any given device. sometimes it was like-look!...a SQUIRREL! but then the superseding item would actually be superior.
i didn't always agree with his musical choices (the hearts of space ferinstance), that wasted little time on MY cd player. but the planets by zubie was totally engaging.
C'mon back hp!
