For the Moon amp, he paired it with a different preamp and, of course, interconnects....so I remain a bit puzzled as to how he compared the Prima Luna intergrated with the Moon amp in any sort of direct way.Perhaps if he had used a preamp-out output on the integrated, I could better relate.
I think there may be some overlap for comparison: the reviewer used a different amp with a different preamp and compared, so one could argue he was simply comparing the Prima Luna with a 40,000+ dollar preamp/interconnect/amp combo and leave it at that, other than the mess of deciding who did what to the bass.
So, still, the comment specifically about the bass of the Moon amp is a little odd.
