Unfortunately...

...you can't expect the same level of sophistication, attention to detail and critical listening/reviewing skill you get from the print magazines in many of the webzines.

After all, most of those guys are reviewing for free.

Some are doing a decent job, though, in spite of this, so just beware and take most of it with a grain of salt.

The reviewers in the print publications are paid professionals and have a much higher standard.

When the publication you mention posts asking for reviewers from Audio Asylum, what do you expect?

And when they review a number of amplifiers on one system with a single set of speakers and think that's great work...well enough said.
