Or even in Springfield, reading Stereophile while listening to music is an enhancement to both, not an interference.

It even helps at the symphony. Years ago subscribers to the Eugene Symphony were invited to a rehearsal and I had walked over to the bookmark and bought a stereo magazine (TAS?) while waiting for it to start. Great fun, listening while reading and looking up once in a while to watch the orchestra. Felt right at home...
