A stereo L/R plus a singleton center channel (2 + 1) is pretty common. Review pricing should generally follow convention for the product category ("USD $1,995/pair" for stereo sets; unit pricing for subs and centers). To avoid doubt, being specific about pricing...per pair, per unit, or per set (e.g., bundled surround system)...is always a good idea, I think.
