Not like that at all...

Taking "limited production" at face value, the buyer might well expect to be in a rarefied and elite group, when it really means "limited to how many I can sell." Right, Steve?

Wrong, Dave.

What it really means is "limited to what I wish to produce," which is considerably less than what could potentially be sold. I haven't any interest in doing high volume production of cables (and for that matter the design and construction of the cables doesn't lend itself well to volume production in the first place) and the "limited production" is there simply as a forewarning to potential customers that we're not necessarily going to have what they want when they want it.

If it had meant "limited to how many I can sell" I'd have designed a cable that I could just peel off a spool, cut to length, maybe tart it up with some Techflex, and slap some heatshrink and connectors on the ends.
