Unfortunately in the publishing world, editorial content and graphics quality do not always go hand-in-hand. Stereophile has never put a premium on photos and graphics, say, the way HiFi+ magazine does. Maybe they figure most of us can go on the manufacturer's website to look up pretty pictures, but even then, you don't often get a good visual of the component you're looking for. So I applaud Hi-Fi+ for their excellent photography, it gives me a much better feel for the product under review.
