Yes they are low-power triode friendly. The Monacor driver has 92db. The advantage of the new B-Horn III design is that the Fostex driver get´s the load of the bass from his sholder which leads to a improved midrange and top-end clearness. Of course the low-end-bass will extend as well. I´m still experimenting with the damping. So far I made it quiet simple. Both compression chambers are filled with damping material and the last sharp corner of the Horn. I will let you know once I got the final solution.
