I didn't expect to see so much equipment. What a giggle for me on a last second decision to attend. Some faces were familiar but how about that guy who was painting the house down the street, poked his head in and stayed till most had gone. What an eye opener for him.
It was a treat to hear my moondogs with some really good input and power tubes borrowed from Daves C's stash. Thanks so much Dave. And thanks to Garland for helping to steering me a straight pathway through the jungle of tube upgrade.
Most didn't know I also had a pair of stock paramours in the car and never brought them in. Who would care to listen to stock when Garland's heavily tweaked paramours were on deck?
Mike's turntable continues to dazzle me. How does he do such exacting work? I had never listened to the fabulous Pi speakers before. They were a treat to the ears and astonishingly pleasing to look at. I truly hpe they will return.
I arrived too late to fully enjoy the amps that started it off. I hope to remedy that next time.
