With a rested set of ears tonight I can hear what these little guys are doing. This is the first set of speakers I've had here that I just might take down to the studio. I pretty much hate every speaker made. But these are pretty listenable. Still a wee bit splashy in the 2-3K range, but they image well, have nice musical bass, and gobs of resolution. They have that quality of making not so great recordings sound better, not by dulling them down, but by digging out some of the better qualities that might be masked by the warts in a less resolving system.
