Hi,Wes from Bottlehead wrote me to recommend taking off all four nuts (use a drop of acetone to loosen them if necessary), along with their lockwashers, and then install shoulder washers and put it directly on the chassis. Now proceed as normal from the bottom of the chassis, taking care not to deform the bottom lamination when tightening.
I also stripped a bolt trying to get a nut off (or perhaps it was stripped already). Do you have any recommendations for getting the bolt/nut off now? The nut is pretty much right where it started -- up against the transformer -- and I'm scared of injuring the unit itself if I try stronger methods.
