Robert,I got the Prometheus from Bill back in December. I noticed a couple of months back that the one of the open baffles had its center sucked in rather than pushed out like the other 12" drivers. I don't know whether this is a natural occurance or one of my nephews punched it in when no one was watching. I haven't noticed a difference in the sound from one side of the room to the other, so I have not worried about it. Should I be worried?
BTW, I really like these speakers. The only downside is that they are so revealing that everything (components, cables, cones, etc.)makes a difference.
For owners experiencing an upper base suck-out, a pair of majic bullets between my cdp and preamp solved that.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
