Capacitor Bypassing

I've changed the capacitor on my Prometheus Mk1 speakers to a 1uF Jupiter Beeswax cap and really enjoy the noticable improvement in sound...More bloom, imo...Is there any benefit or what type of change would one expect from bypassing the 1uF capcitor with a 0.1uF cap? I know on the electronic side of the equation, bypassing with a 1/10 value cap is all the rage...Sorry for my uneductaed question, just trying to learn..
