Hi,
the acoustical center is in about the same height, it`s inbetween the tweeter and the wideband driver with a single wideband driver and tweeter on the baffle.
The new Mandala baffle- design offer the possibility to add a second wideband driver on the baffle later by adding another cut- out for the second wideband driver. That´s a new perspective compared to the Prometheus/Atlas baffles.
The possibility to add a second wideband driver later requires to place the tweeter offset, so the wideband drivers can be placed close to each other with the right distance. Equipped with a single wideband driver the sound and the imaging is comparable to the centered tweeter- position. The offset tweeter position in 95% of all rooms and positions sounds best with the tweeters outside and leaves the option to place the baffles with the tweeters inside for the other 5% of possible placements.
