Hi,

the paralleled resistors don`t adjust the level of the widebands. They adjust the level of the upper midrange a bit and at the same time they flatten the impedance to make the widebands an extremely easy load for any amp. When you bi-amp the open baffles the function of the resistors is still given, i highly recommend to leave them untouched.
