I have not heard the Legned kits, but I do have the AN UK Conquests 300B x4 high gain versions.

I have to say they are NOT light in the bass. What people may be referring to is pairing them 3 way speakers that are not efficient. You need tube friendly speakers of 91db minimum. I would say this applies to any SET amp.

I run Zingali Overture 2s horn hybrid speakers and they sound fabulous. I am sure a good pair of Audio Note AN-Es would be great as well.

I do run a REL sub as well, to fill out below 60 hz. I would say not many tube amps have good control that low anyway. You are into tubes for the vocals and realism. With a sub you get both that and great bass depth as well.
