Just wanted to get your opinions... and please let me know if there is another thread in which this subject has been discussed...
Is there a difference in sound if I choose to use something like a Solen 0.022 fastcap vs an AN Alu PIO 0.01?
My early AN Copper PIOs quickly shorted out in this position... and they even take tubes with them! I have replaced them with the AN Alu PIO but am concerned that these may go too. I have some Solen fastcap mutualized polypros that I can install.. - would they be more reliable? And will there be a difference in sound?
