No they are not, the AD1865, the Dac chip used by Audio Note is only 18bit capable.....whether this really matters is open for debate as the 6 bits it 'drops' are the least significant bits and of course bits are not linear, the MSB (most significant bit) carries 1/2 the info, the next bit 1/4 and so on and so on. By the time you get to the 19th bit your loss is very small.

Where the AD1865 scores is in it's legendary musicality and the fact that it is NOS, non over sampling unlike most modern Dacs. Furthermore the Dac will handle up to 705.6kHz sample rate, so in the Audio Note implementation it is running will below it's true capability......
